The following properties were offered for sale by public auction at the Beverley Arms Hotel on Friday 8 October 2004 and the results were as follows:
Lot 1 - Building Plot adjoining 707 Hotham Road South - Withdrawn at £34,000
Lot 2 - 45 Main Street, Etton - Sold at £65,000
Lot 3 - Little Orchard, Ringrose Lane, Anlaby - Sold for £275,000
Lot 4 - Cottage,Ringrose Lane, Anlaby - Sold for £96,000 subject to conditions.
Lot 5 - 2 Skidby Road,Little Weighton - Sold at £190,500
The venue was packed with bidders and interested parties and the Auctioneers have been very pleased with the results. At this time they are negotiating with regard to the sale of the plot. Auctioneer, Howard Clarke FRICS said "it is pleasing to see in quieter market conditions so much interest in the properties we offered for sale by auction, with interest rates remaining at a similar level we anticipate a steady demand for residential properties in the coming months".
